Maybe you’re sick of competing with legions of splashing third graders to use the swimming pool, or maybe you’re bored with the familiar smattering of spinning and yoga classes. Whatever the case, your daily exercise routine is probably do for an upgrade.
Luckily, a new generation of boutique gyms are adding a touch of luxury to the health and wellness market, combining high-tech gear (one London gym offers an “hypoxic” chamber for athletes training for atmospheric changes) as well as nutritional counseling, detox programs and even concierge services.
Now if only they could actually do the workout for you.
