This week, celebrities favored looks from haute labels like Alexander McQueen and Elie Saab on the red carpet. Usual best dressed suspects Amanda Seyfried and Naomi Watts made our list, along with lesser-known stars like Rosamund Pike, who opted for a stunning neon ensemble.

Bold colors dominated the fashion scene this week: We spotted an orange, a yellow, and a neon pink, and it definitely brightened up these drab winter months.

As usual, we’ve rounded up our nine favorite looks of the week—and included a major faux pas as a bonus.

Click through the gallery above for a recap of this week’s highlights in celebrity fashion.

Rosamund Pike attended the London premiere of "Jack Reacher" wearing a neon yellow Alexander McQueen full-length gown. The dress featured dramatic geometric cut-outs in the back, and a full flowing skirt. The actress looked polished as well as comfortable in this adventurous choice.

Anne Hathaway already made fashion news this week for her Tom Ford peek-a-boo incident, but we're partial to this Nina Ricci Spring 2013 dress and Stella McCartney strappy pumps (although they aren't quite season-appropriate). The simple shape of the dress, and nude shimmer complemented her frame and short haircut perfectly. No drama here.

Karolina Kurkova dazzled in red shorts and a blazer by Elie Saab's Spring 2013 collection at a Moncler event at Art Basel Miami. The cut-out black ankle boots complemented the look by toning down the bright color.

Amanda Seyfried attended the "Les Misérables" New York premiere in a gorgeous Alexander McQueen gown (her second piece by the designer this month). The bust was embellished with gold rivets and baubles, and the dress was cinched at the waist with a darling tortoise belt. Her gold-wrapped bun completed the look wonderfully.

Jessica Chastain arrived at the premiere of "Zero Dark Thirty" in a cobalt custom Elie Saab Spring 2013 dress and Charlotte Olympia heels. The original made its way down the runway with a flowing striped sheer skirt, while the actress chose a more demure pencil skirt shape. The simple detailing and ruffled skirt looked nothing short of adorable.

Jessica Alba glowed in a pink Christian Dior dress at the Golden Globe Awards Nominations. The classic silhouette, complimented by a peplum detailing on the waist looked sophisticated and pretty on the actress. She kept her shoes simple, opting for a pair of beige patent pumps.

Kylie Minogue wore an orange Alexander McQueen Resort gown while performing at a Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo this week. The bold color and empire waist worked beautifully on stage, and we commend her for her daring color choice.

Megan Fox looked beautiful at the Golden Globe Award Nominations Ceremony in a Giambattista Valli dress. The new mom's army-green and white feminine dress was adorned in purple flower detailing. Her luxurious locks sparked definite hair-envy.

Ruth Wilson wore a very confusing Jason Wu jumper (?) to  the British Independent Film Awards this week. The pants were okay, but the weird fabric hanging down her neck was a definite miss, as was the awkward sheer component to the blouse.
