EAT: We are in the mood for Ramen this weekend (and if we are in the mood, well you reader, probably are too). The oxtail ramen at Nombe in the painfully hot Mission District in San Francisco is one of our favorite interpretations. 2491 Mission Street, San Francisco; nombesf.com.

PLAY: Robert Strange McNamara, who served as Secretary of Defense for presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson, was one of the most important behind the scenes figures in American History. Now, various memorabilia from his White House years are up for auction at Sotheby's, including two chairs from his cabinet room that are expected to fetch upwards of $150,000. Visit sothebys.com for more information

PAMPER: October 20th is a little known holiday called "Sweetest Day" where everyone is encouraged to give little sweets to the people that they love. And when we think of sweets, we think of marzipan. Our favorite spot to pick up this sweet treat is Les Jardins De Morgane in the town of Vauvert, France (seriously, its worthy of a six-hour flight). 1 Chemindu moulin d'Etienne, Le Hameau, Vauvert, France

WATCH: So you are obsessed with Wuthering Heights? So are we, which is why seeing the new film adaptation is at the top of our weekend to do list. In fact, we might just don a Victorian gown a la Catherine Earnshaw to head to the theater in.

SHOP: You would never buy an off the rack suit, so why would you buy off the rack jeans? Enter Levi's Made-to-Order Project. It's a two man operation by where you get measured, counseled and eventually (around four weeks later) get a pair of jeans that are yours, and yours only. Available at Levi's Meatpacking; 414 W. 14th, New York City; levis.com.

DRINK: Spiked hot chocolate is all the rage these days, but for those looking for something a bit different opt for Gramercy's Tavern's hot chocolate martini spiked with Stoli Vanil vodka and amaretto. The glass is filled just to the half, while the remainder is left in a warm teapot. Needless to say, it one of the best drinks around. 42 East 20th Street, New York City; gramercytavern.com
