On Tuesday night, pretty much every beautiful woman in the world was in one place. Dancing. In her underwear. We’re obviously referring to the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which was held in (a very rainy) Manhattan and was—as always—a pretty special night.
Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid walked the runway for the first time, Lily Aldridge wore the $2 million Fantasy Bra, and live acts Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding, and The Weeknd gave some seriously impressive vocals. And that wasn’t even everything: Read on for five must-know things that happened at Tuesday’s taping (most of which you won’t see on TV when the show airs December 8 on CBS). Then click through the gallery to see all the best looks!
Behati Prinsloo opened the show, and Martha Hunt closed it.
No trace of Prinsloo’s hubby, Adam Levine, though—or Martha’s BFF Taylor Swift.
The show started 45 minutes late.
Typically, the VS show kicks off on time, but an announcement was made that “the weather” was causing delays for some invited guests. Mere minutes later, Caitlyn Jenner breezed in, and flashbulbs went nuts. You do the math.
Trevor Noah was having the best night ever.
Newly minted Daily Show host Noah sat front row and was literally having the most fun. Not only was he enthusiastically beaming, clapping, and cheering for all the models, but he was jamming in his seat to the live performances.
Kris Jenner was seriously reserved.
When Kendall Jenner made her debut on the runway, everyone cheered but mom Kris—sitting front row with boyfriend Corey Gamble—who just smiled a little. Maybe she watched the rehearsals?
Kris and Caitlyn greeted each other with a hug—but didn’t sit together.
Shocking, we know.
