Getting asked to walk in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show is like making it to the Super Bowl of modeling. And like the elite athletes hoping to take home the Vince Lombardi trophy every year, these girls understand that preparation is absolutely key to killing it on the runway (feeling good stripping down to your undies in front of millions takes work, people).
And while each Angel is essentially a mini wealth of knowledge about tricks to shape up fast (cardio), how to keep your skin glowing (water), and other secrets from Model Land, we’re more interested in what these beauties eat when they’re ready to ditch the diet and live a little. Cheat-day food, if you will.
This year, we popped backstage before the annual extravaganza (which tapes tonight but doesn’t air until December 8 on CBS) and grilled six top Victoria’s Secret Angels about the junk food they’re reaching for as soon as the clothes come back on.

“Tomorrow morning, I’m going to have a french toast bagel with extra cream cheese, and I’m very excited about that. I love burgers, as everyone does, and I haven’t had a burger in a month—so I’m really excited for that too.”

“It has it be a $1 pizza slice from 2 Bros Pizza on the corner [in New York City]. We don’t have pizza like that in London; it’s like some gourmet food that [costs] 20 pounds. So, yeah, I like my dollar slice.”

“There [are] things I’ve been dreaming about. Like, I literally have Twix in my purse for when I’m done with this—I’m downing five of them.”

“I’m going to treat myself for a week. It’s not a cheat day; it’s a cheat week. What I really like is carbs. I’m Asian, so we eat rice and noodles for every meal, [and] since I’ve cut them out, I’ve been crying. And chocolate and french fries too. That’s the best.”

“Oh my God, I have so many. Baked macaroni and cheese and something else …I was just telling my boyfriend ‘remind me as soon as the show finishes [that I want to eat]’ … Oh! Wafles and Dinges. Have you had it? The warm waffles with the speculoos? I love hot-cold desserts, so I’m definitely going to have that this weekend.”

“Wholesome comfort food. Any sort of greasy shit is really awesome. Chocolate, candy, anything greasy. I’m going to [New York City restaurant] Cafeteria after this to have these mac and cheese spring rolls. Literally mac and cheese in a deep-fried spring roll. I [also] want a grilled cheese sandwich and pizza.”
