If you aren’t already looking forward to Uniqlo’s upcoming collaboration with streamlined, super-luxe label Lemaire, the official lookbook showcasing each individual piece will probably do the trick.
Unlike some other fast-fashion partnerships which simply co-opt a designer’s signature print or color palette on low-quality fabric, this one looks like it’s legitimately something from Christophe Lemaire’s line. (In case you’re not familiar, Lemaire was the former creative director at Hermés, and since launching his own label in 2011 has developed a high-fashion fanbase thanks to his coveted essentials with a minimalist bent.)
During the course of the summer, Uniqlo’s released several campaign photos, all of which easily could be snaps from a legit Fashion Week presentation, and now we’ve got an actual look at the goods, in all their cozy, high-style glory.
Composed only of black, cream, gray, and red, the collection—which includes draped knits and tees for $39, long-sleeve dresses for $59, and cashmere-blend outerwear overcoats for $169—doesn’t only have an undeniable quiet elegance, but it’ll also take the guesswork out of building your fall uniform since most pieces can (and should) be worn together.
Here, we’ve highlighted 12 standout items you’ll absolutely want to snag when they’re released on October 2, and you can head over to Uniqlo’s site to see the rest.
