If there’s one thing that’s caught our eye this fashion week, it’s the style off the runway. A booming influx of street style photographers have taken over the promenade outside of Lincoln Center and the other show locations around New York Fashion Week, prompting just about everyone attending the shows to pull out a look.

From retro to ridiculous, we’ve spotted several popular trends worn by these fashion insiders, and we especially love the use of bold, unapologetic color and prints for fall. Contrasting patterns are mixed together in delightfully unconventional ways, while a quirky sense of nostalgia also continues to gain favor among the fashion set — from pencil skirts to buttoned-up blouses.

We compiled some of the best outfits seen on the street this week (that we’re constantly updating!). Read on to see who made the cut.

We think this might be one of our top choices for a fall outfit. A basic, over-sized, crisp white shirt tucked into a pair of high-waisted trousers is effortlessly sophisticated.

We've spotted leather all over the spring runways, but don't hold off until next year to try out this trend. We love the way she layered the dress over a white, sheer blouse for a more girly approach.

We're loving simplicity this season! Here, a cable sweater, jean shorts and a floppy hat looks fluently cool.
