Jesse John Jenkins/Stella McCartney
Every so often Stella McCartney taps an enigmatically cool girl from around the globe and has her dish advice on one of her favorite travel destinations. This week, the fashion brand’s snapped Argentine actress, activist, and DJ Calu Rivero to pose in Paris, and share her ultimate travel guide to the City of Light. Today we nabbed a preview of the shoot, plus Rivero’s favorite Paris activities (hint: She loves art). Keep scrolling!
What’s your favorite thing about Paris?
Wandering the streets, sitting and watching people pass by. It’s the best city to people-watch! I could also spend hours in the Shakespeare and Co. bookstore on Rue de la Bûcherie.
What are the three things everyone should do in Paris?
Art, art, art! Any exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo is worth seeing. The Louvre and the beautiful Jardin des Tuileries, and then, of course, the Pompidou!

You’re an actress, DJ, and activist. Which is your favourite hat to wear?
Acting gives me so much pleasure. Creating a character that comes alive is such a special feeling. Although the gravity of the state our environment gives me a lot of motivation to rise up.
Which was your favorite look from the shoot and why?
I love the full denim looks! Stella McCartney’s designs are always sophisticated, pure, and versatile. I felt so comfortable.
How would you describe your style?
Feminine, cruelty-free, and authentic.

We know you are as passionate about the environment. Can you tell us about this?
I think it’s important to acknowledge that 25 percent of the world’s climate change is caused by animal farming. All the cars, boats, trucks, and planes combined release less carbon dioxide than farming animals for consumption do. It’s an important contribution all of us can make to try to give up, or eat less meat.
What’s in the pipeline for you?
A lot! I am filming a fashion film, various deejaying sets, a work trip to L.A., and already planning my next trip to Paris!
