By the end of Spring 2014 Fashion Week, we were floored by the sheer (sorry, had to!) number of designers that showcased flimsy, see-through pieces for spring.
While we can probably all agree that too much see-through anything isn’t a good look for anyone (unless your name is Miley or Rihanna), J. Mendel, Blumarine, Erdem, and many other high-end designers proved that showing a strategic bit of skin can be downright chic when done correctly.
From strategic see-through stripes and panels that made their way onto everything from T-shirts, hems, blouses, and evening gowns, to fully sheer skirts worn with a pair of hotpants underneath, peek-a-boo pieces are having a very stylish moment.
