Fact: I’m a total sucker for a beautiful editorial photoshoot. There’s something breathtaking about a world that is created by just a handful of people, lighting, clothes, hair/makeup and a jaw-dropping gorgeous girl. Then, I turn away from my computer screen or magazine, look in the mirror and then to my closet. Not to be a total self-deprecating Debbie Downer, but let’s face it, we don’t all wake up with a glam squad eagerly waiting for us.

Editorials are amazing to accumulate some totally necessary inspiration, learn about a new designer or even how to wear an unexpected pattern, but at the end of the day, we’re lucky if we have time to pick up our dry cleaning, let alone get to the tailor to fit clothes that look half as impeccable as they do on the models. That’s why (as much as I will always and forever love a good shoot), I’ve become moderately obsessed with style bloggers.

This is a breed of lady who isn’t afraid to take risks, test emerging trends and oh by the way, share it with the online universe. There are a lot of new looks and styles floating around this season and instead of referencing some unrealistic fashion spreads, I turned to my top trendoids to share not only what looks are surely going to be huge this spring but also practical ways to wear them.

We love the way Blair rocks a 1960s inspired color blocked dress. Instead of going totally crazy, we dig her understated (but amazing) brown leather bag. Continuing on the colorful trend, her orange heels are the perfect finish.

Tribal patterns aren't the easiest to incorporate into an outfit. We love the way Helena spruces up a simple outfit whilst tying in the color palette of her look with the comfy sweater.

Tangerine might be one of the biggest colors this season. Chriselle looks effortlessly sophisticated by throwing on a tangerine blazer over a slouchy peach blouse.

Leave the body con dresses at home this spring. We're obsessed with these printed overalls. Both functional and comfortable, they just might be the best (and most unexpected) transitional item this season.

Some days just aren't made for a skirt. The updated boyfriend short is displayed perfectly in Julie's outfit with a tailored colorful blazer and casual (but not sloppy) t-shirt polished off with a sick pair of heels.

It's still a a tad chilly in the mornings, but your winter coat just isn't cutting it. Leandra sports a military inspired jacket that adds an extra dynamic to her outfit that looks super cute with her thick framed glasses.

Colored denim can be more than daunting the first time around. Ashley looks adorable in her basic sailor inspired shirt with coral denim. Balancing out the vibrant color, her tan heels and simple shades accomplish a stunning day look.

Floral prints are clearly here to stay. So is clashing prints. Song fuses the two together to look completely together but not silly by pairing lace shorts with her fun pattern situation going on with her top and blazer.

Whether they're colored, printed or distressed, your pants are definitely deserving of some special treatment this season. Krystal jams out all-over prints to look casually directional.
