Charleston Cartagena Hotel Santa Teresa, Colombia

Set in the Old City of Cartagena, La Santa Teresa juxtaposes luxury and colonial design. Known for its rooftop pool and opulent accommodations, you’ll be tempted to never leave the hotel, but you should! During the day take a long stroll around the Old City and admire the overflowing vines from the city's many balconies, the colonial architecture, and the colorful houses. At night, taste Colombian delicacies like coconut rice and tostones, while feeling the bustle of Cartagena’s nightlife. It will be a spring break you’ll never forget.

Banyan Tree Mayakoba, Playa del Carmen

While Playa Del Carmen is home to many luxury hotels, Banyan Tree Mayakoba puts them all to shame. Situated along the second-largest coral reef in the world, with only villa accommodations (some freestanding above water), this is one of those rare hotels that is worth every penny. If the view of mango groves and freshwater lagoons are not relaxing enough, then rejuvenate your senses at the hotel spa. The massages and body treatments are inspired by Asian healing studies, made all the better considering each spa therapist has received formal training in Thailand, China, or Indonesia. After a cold winter, this will make for a much needed escape.

Ulusaba Private Game Reserve, South Africa

Imagine going onto your own private wooden terrace and seeing an elephant in your backyard. Ulusaba is not just luxury and comfort, staying here is about adventure. You can enjoy the traditional perks of a high end hotel, like a spa and perfectly prepared food, but you can also go on a walking safari, a game drive, or stargaze at the bush observatory. Here you’ll always have something to do and see, while enjoying nature in its most natural way.

MAIA Luxury Resort & Spa, Seychelles

If you’re looking for zen you can definitely find it at the Maia Luxury Resort and Spa, situated on the Seychelles island, off the coast of Africa. Dive into the crystal blue water or go on a fishing trip. Activities available include taking a helicopter ride or spending the day meditating and doing yoga. This is where true serenity lies.

Phulay Bay, Thailand

If you’ve ever seen The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio, you’ve dreamed of being on that island (minus the panic and scary shark attack of course). Well, we've found it for you but with an upgrade on the living conditions. With options like exploring the nearby jungle on an elephant’s back or paddling across the Andaman Sea to check out caves, you become an explorer while staying at Phulay Bay. If romance trumps adventure for you, the hotel offers a handful of restaurants with intimate settings and a private spa suite for two.

Royal Mansour, Marrakech

In Morocco extravagance falls just short of magical. From colorful mosaic walls stretching up to the ceilings to marble fountains, the Royal Mansour is a Moroccan palace turned luxury hotel. Have a Mediterranean lunch beneath some olive trees or stay in your own riad (a traditional Moroccan house) with your own butler. You’ll feel like royalty here.

Hotel Christopher, St. Barthelemy

Staying at the Hotel Christopher in St. Barth’s is far from a casual affair. Meant for more of a romantic holiday, this hotel has all of the qualities of an intimate vacation spot. If a white beach, a lounge oasis in the center of an infinity pool, and the sunset sinking into the crystal blue ocean, doesn’t bring out a spark between two, nothing can. This is the ideal place to forget the bustling motions of everyday life and just focus on the ocean view.

Il Pellicano Hotel, Italy

Have you ever imagined yourself cooking an authentic Italian meal? Or perhaps you prefer to just learn the art of making your own cocktail? At Il Pellicano you can learn both, while staying in this Tuscan treasure. Equipped with a tennis court, golf course and private boats to tour the coast and its surrounding islands, you’ll be fully entertained with this areas sites and culture.
