Let your inner ’90s teen freak out, because the rumors are true: The Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys are in talks about embarking on a joint tour. Just let the sheer awesomeness of that news sink in for a second.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, singer (and former Backstreet Boys band member) AJ McLean said the bands have been in talks for the past 18 months—which would explain why rumors of a joint tour have been popping up over the past year.

“The Spice Girls tour has been this idea bouncing around for the past year and a half, and it’s something we’re still talking about,” he said.

Just picture a concert with back-to-back classic tracks like “Wannabe” and “As Long As You Love Me.” If this tour happens, you know we’ll be first in line for tickets.

This isn’t the first time the Backstreet Boys have tried to revive the band: In 2011, the group began performing with New Kids on the Block in a coheadlined concert tour. Right now, Nick Carter is generating some serious buzz as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars.
