There are two words in particular that, when used in the same sentence, work us up into a design frenzy. And no, they’re not unlimited and budget.

Maybe it’s our lust for style, our appreciation for great cities, or perhaps a combination of both. Regardless, the words decorating and Manhattan flip our interior-design excitement switches in a very special way.

So when Elyse E. came to Havenly seeking help with decorating her Manhattan apartment on a budget, we were more than happy to oblige.

“When everyone walks in, it feels like a home, not an apartment.” – Elyse E.

When it comes to apartments in Manhattan, clever interior design is the fastest way to make your space work for you. Havenly designer Hannah C. used strategically placed mirrors, a tucked-away vanity and a fabulous bedroom bench  to make use of limited space. “The contemporary chandelier and abstract painting were my inspiration for the overall style, and I love using blues in bedrooms for a peaceful vibe,” she says.
