Ronda Rousey Is NOT Happy About Her Photo Being Photoshopped to Make Her Look Thinner

PSA: Never, ever Photoshop a picture of UFC champion Ronda Rousey. Ever.

The Sports Illustrated cover star, pro fighter, and general badass just shared an apology on Instagram, telling her followers that she had unknowingly posted a photo of herself to promote an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” but that her arm had been digitally altered in Photoshop to look thinner. Yes, the same arm that made her a pro UFC fighter and landed her a SI cover. Obviously, Rousey was not happy.

“I know it was done with severely misplaced positive intentions – but this goes against everything I believe and I am extremely proud of every inch of my body. And I can assure you all it will never happen again. I could not be more appalled,” Rousey wrote in the caption, asking her followers for their forgiveness.

It’s a pretty sad state of affairs when even a pro female athlete—who relies on her awesome muscles to make a living—is edited to look thinner. Sigh.
