At this point, designer collaborations are a dime a dozen, but when we heard that ridiculously chic, H&M-owned high-street brand & Other Stories is set to team up with decidedly un-high-street label Rodarte … let’s just say we weren’t rolling our eyes.
So far, we know the capsule collection—fully designed by Rodarte designers and sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy—will be part of the & Other Stories Co-Lab partnerships, which includes lines by niche fashion designers (Rachel Antonoff, Vika Gazinskaya, Clare Vivier), fashion insiders (street-style star and stylist Ada Kokosar), and It musicians (Lykke Li). The prices will range from $29 for a pair of tights to $325 for a sequin dress. (If that seems high for what’s technically a fast-fashion store, consider this: A main-line Rodarte sequin dress starts at about $10,000.)
The Los Angeles–inspired range will include clothing, shoes, and accessories and will be available online and in stores next spring.
