There is (rightfully) no end to the world’s sadness over Prince‘s death. As such, it’s only natural that people are turning to food—specifically, baked goods and sugar—to deal with their bottomless grief. (Now is not the time to count calories; plus, cooking can totally be therapeutic!)

We have to hand it to the industrial souls who turned to the kitchen to create colorful, pretty, and presumably delicious concoctions in honor of the irreplaceable performer. We thought we’d lost our appetites after the stomach-dropping news, but these desserts might help us get them back.

Tastemade's Prince-covered tribute sugar cookie is a work of art that resulted from a collaboration with pastry chef Amber Spiegel of Sweet Ambs Cookies, Delish reports.

Oregon-based bakery Voodoo Donut Instagrammed a shot of their R.I.P. Prince donut, one of a few donut tributes they've created.

The Philly Voice reported that a local ice cream shop called Little Baby's will be adding a Prince-inspired flavor called "Purple Plain."

One user on the baking enthusiast website Cake Central designed and sold this one-of-a-kind Prince-inspired cake to a friend's daughter.

These cupcakes, called "Raspberry Beret" (at left) and "Under the Cherry Moon" (at right) were created by a Long Islander named Kerri Cody, according to Newsday.
