While you were recovering from your fourth of July beer-and-burger binge, everyone’s favorite royal family was busy being, well, royal. Princess Charlotte—the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s newest family member—was christened today, making her first public appearance since her birth in May, and marking the family’s first official outing as a foursome.
Looking every inch a princess—yes, even at barely two months old—the baby wore a white robe, while her mum looked super-sharp in Alexander McQueen, although it was 2-year-old Prince George who really stole the show in red shorts and little shoes and socks.
After the christening service—held at Sandringham’s St. Mary Magdalene church in Norfolk, 110 miles north of London—the family headed to the Queen’s Sandringham house for tea (and a leftover tier of cake from William and Kate’s wedding, the palace revealed) and a portrait session with famed fashion photographer Mario Testino.
Check out the lovely photos of the family heading into the church, cheered on by an adoring public below.
