For all you “Fifty Shades of Grey” fans out there, we have some really good news–there’s a new book on the way, and it’s going to be told from from S&M enthusiast Christian Grey’s perspective, whereas the other novels were told from Anastasia Steele’s point of view.

Author E.L. James announced the news on Instagram today writing: “Hello all. For those of you who have asked, Christian’s POV of #FSOG is published on 18th June for his birthday. It’s called GREY… I hope you enjoy it.”

James also posted the cover on Instagram, so everyone can get a sneak peek.

“Christian is a complex character,” the author said in a news release. “And readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past. Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story. It’s been a great pleasure to return to my happy place–writing, being with Christian and Ana in their universe, and working with the fantastic team at Vintage.”

This upcoming release, according to James, is dedicated to “those readers who asked…and asked… and asked… and asked for this.” Considering the existing “Fifty Shades” trilogy–“Fifty Shades of Grey”, “Fifty Shades Darker”, and “Fifty Shades Freed”–has sold more than 125 million copies worldwide, we can only begin to imagine the amount of fan mail James received asking for this.

Even more good news? We won’t have to wait long—the new book is coming out June 18, so mark your calendars!
