Natalie Portman’s Husband Lands Prestigious Job of Director of Paris Opera Ballet

Up until yesterday, few knew what Benjamin Millepied did besides choreograph the Oscar-winning flick “Black Swan” and get its star Natalie Portman pregnant in the process. Now, Portman’s hubby has just landed a major gig in the über-competitive world of dance: He’s been named the director of the Paris Opera Ballet.
Millepied will fit in perfectly with the prestigious ballet company. Up until 2011, he was a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet. Hot off the success of “Black Swan,” he left the company behind to start his own Los Angeles dance troop called the L.A. Dance Project.
He will kick off his gig in Paris in October 2014—so we can only imagine that the drop-dead gorgeous duo will be house-hunting for a sensible flat nearby the theater on Paris’ Right Bank.
