Prepare to see Super Mario everything on Instagram and street-style blogs, because Moschino just released its latest kitschy-cool collection—and this time, it’s Nintendo themed.
The brand’s creative director, Jeremy Scott, has a knack for turning bizarre pop culture–influenced collections into seriously buzzy street-style trends. You’ll remember how the Italian label’s McDonald’s collection spurred a million fast food–inspired fashion knockoffs. And Moschino’s SpongeBob and Barbie lines stormed the blogosphere. So there are no prizes for guessing the brand’s new Super Moschino partnership with Nintendo is about to be everywhere.
Hitting Moschino’s online store and select boutiques on December 5, the collection celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Super Mario Bros. game (feel old now, don’t you!) and includes T-shirts, sweaters, handbags, and more accessories splashed with nostalgic graphics of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, coins, stars, and mushrooms.
