If your taste skews anywhere toward a mix of vintage and indie, there’s a good chance you’ve shopped on ModCloth—the multi-brand online store is one of the places to nab clothing and accessories that have more than a little homespun charm.
Now, the site is adding to its vintage-inspired lineup by introducing ModCloth x You. The private label collection landed online today and includes skirts, dresses, and blouses, all with that distinctive ModCloth feel.
While the super inclusive offering—sizes range from XS to 4X—isn’t massive yet, every month new pieces will be designed entirely in response to customer feedback (so, if you have thoughts about what should be offered, don’t be shy about posting comments on the site).
“Right now, we’re focused on getting our namesake label right and creating the best experience for our customer, ” Modcloth cofounder Susan Koger told us. ” However, there is absolutely possibility for expansion into other categories.”
This isn’t the first time ModCloth’s tried out the house label biz: In 2011 it launched “Make the Cut,” a program encouraging customers to send through designs that, depending on how many votes they received by the community, could be produced and sold online.
