Over 42 episodes and three seasons, Melissa Roxburgh has intrigued and surprised audiences as Michaela Stone in Manifest.
The show debuted on NBC in 2018 but was rather unceremoniously dropped after a season three cliffhanger. When the show was licensed by Netflix in 2021 however, it experienced so much secondary success—as the fifth-most watched show—the streamer was compelled to help the cast and crew finish the story. And to tie up all those loose ends that have fans endlessly speculating on Reddit. “Fan outcry helped us get that last season,” Roxburgh told StyleCaster.
In Manifest, passengers of Montego Air Flight 828 disappeared without a trace, only for them and the plane to return unscathed. Five and half years in the future having not aged a day. Their mission becomes finding out what happened to them and why, as well as deciphering the mysterious voices they call “callings”. Michaela, a cop and one of the lead characters, uses her detective skills and analytical thinking to get to the bottom of this chaotic mystery.
But just how well does she actually know the show she starred in, for what will be four seasons and 62 episodes? In light of the fourth and final season hitting Netflix, We tested Melissa’s recall and knowledge of the first three seasons of Manifest. Let’s just say she has a bone to pick with some of the “facts” presented by the internet, including who they believe helped the passengers of Flight 828 the most. “Woah, internet, won’t forget that,” she said.
Manifest season 4 is available to stream on Netflix. Watch StyleCaster’s “Manifest Trivia” with Melissa Roxburgh above.
