You were obviously just thinking that Kim Kardashian‘s selfie book, Selfish, would be the perfect holiday gift for your S.O.—and you’re in luck! Kardashian has decided to launch a refreshed, holiday-themed version of the questionable piece of literature with even more selfies. The 300 photos printed in her original book just weren’t enough, guys. Kim’s fans deserve more.

The reality-TV star revealed the book news in an interview with André Leon Talley for Vogue: “I’m going to do a holiday edition with just a new picture on the cover. There might be a few more photos inside,” Kim said. Inspiration hasn’t struck for an entirely new book however: “But for a whole different book, I don’t have anything in the works right now.”

When you have 51.5 million Instagram followers eagerly awaiting your every selfie, it would be easy to assume said suckers fans would shill out $15 for a book like Selfish; however, the original version reportedly wasn’t particularly successful. In fact, reps for Nielsen Bookscan told Radar Online that as of August, Selfish had only sold 32,000 copies, a figure representing just 0.8 percent of Kardashian’s Instagram fans. The reviews on Amazon probably explain why. One critic wrote: “I can recommend the audio version of this book. It lasts 37 seconds. The narrator basically says, ‘On this page, we have an idiot and her cleavage looking into a camera’ 500 times.”

But Kim’s publisher was quick to refute that number, telling Us Weekly the figures were inaccurate. “It represents a very small segment of our sales overall, which are very strong in non-bookstore specialty retailers and international sales, neither of which report to Bookscan. The book is, in fact, a significant success story as a benchmark of the phenomenon of self-portrait in the digital age,” said Pam Sommers, executive director of publicity at Rizzoli.

We can’t be completely sure whether the book’s been a success or not, but we will say this: If no one wants Kim’s Selfish on their coffee tables, it’s hardly something a shiny new cover or a few more selfies is going to fix.
