For a woman whose makeup routine begins with 50 steps of contouring, Kim Kardashian went surprisingly natural on the cover of June’s Vogue Australia.
It was her first photo shoot since the birth of her son, Saint West, in December, and everything about it is kind of perfect. Gone is her pin-straight hair and in its place super-modern undone waves, and her makeup is barely there (but there, always there). The look may be straight outta bed but flawlessly executed because nobody—not even Kimmy herself—wakes up on a magazine cover.
And while the photo shoot itself involved 10 different corsets, she gave a shout-out to the cover outfit on Instagram as being from Yeezy’s collection. All in all, it’s the antithesis of her slicked-back look at last week’s Met Gala.
See all the photos and read the interview when the magazine hit stands on May 16. It promises a sliding-doors look into Kim’s life as she reveals what she’d be doing with if she wasn’t busy being famous. Ready? “Forensic investigator.”
