In just a few short years, Kendall Jenner has catapulted from reality-TV progeny to a bona fide model, walking runways for the likes of Chanel and Balmain, as well as starring in editorials and campaigns that have both consumer and industry appeal. Now, the 20-year-old model’s career may be reaching new heights—if fashion hearsay proves true.
Women’s Wear Daily reports that Jenner apparently took some time between runway shows at New York Fashion Week to be shot for Vogue’s June cover, while also pointing to two cryptic Instagram posts as proof that the rumored shoot took place. The first, from Kim Kardashian West’s account, shows Kendall on set in a Vetements sweatshirt dress, a sample rumored to be featured in the shoot.
The second is from Jenner’s own account and shows the model and her bodyguard in an elevator, presumably at Milk Studios, where the shoot was (allegedly) held. Interesting, no?
Although Jenner has fronted countless other fashion publications, such as Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, and Allure, as well as multiple Vogue publications internationally, this would be the first time that she (or any of her family, save Kim and Kanye’s notorious April 2014 cover) would cover Vogue U.S. Stay tuned, folks.
