Chanel’s Fall 2015 Haute Couture show definitely delivered on Karl Lagerfeld‘s reputation for theatrical Fashion Week showcases–but instead of a supermarket or Parisian cafe, he transformed the Grand Palais into an Art Deco-inspired casino–and Kendall Jenner into a modern bride.
Between the A-list celebrities playing cards at the center table and supermodels stepping out in Chanel couture, we challenge you to try and pick just one highlight from the event.
Kristen Stewart, Lily Collins, Lara Stone, Julianne Moore, and more of Lagerfeld’s muses opened the show, stepping onto the runway to take their place at the card tables positioned at its center. From there, models circled the stars, clothed in 1980s-style tweedy power suits and severe hair and makeup that included jet-black bobbed wigs, a streak of bright blush, and red lipstick.
As with Chanel’s Fall 2015 ready-to-wear show, each model worn the same style of shoe: A sleek, slingback mule with a curved heel.
For the finale, Kendall Jenner played the modern Chanel bride, closing the show in a double-breasted wedding tuxedo with a tulle train.
