Before she was photographed by iconic fashion photographers like Mario Testino or Patrick Demarchelier, Kate Moss‘ was a regular kid who posed for her school’s yearbook. Now, one of her class photos has made its way onto a magazine cover—and it’s adorably awkward.
In the snap, a very young Kate’s shown grinning a gap-tooth smile, with long, wavy hair and ’80s-tastic bangs. Sure, it’s not exactly her most glamorous shot, but it’s certainly among her most endearing.
The snap landed on the cover of L’Officiel Spain’s debut issue. Titled “Kate the Great,” the mag also features other famous Kates, including veteran newswoman Katharine Graham, famous for her Watergate coverage, and Tilda Swinton, whose real name is actually Katherine Mathilda “Tilda” Swinton.
