July Agenda: 15 Things to See, Wear, and Do This Month

1. Lace-up sandals
From gladiator sandals to tie-up heels, laces are aren’t just for sneakers anymore. Our favorites right now are these Loeffler Randall heels, which will look great with anything from a silky summer dress or a pair of jeans.

2. Venessa Arizaga necklaces
Summer is the season for adding pops of color to our wardrobe, but if you’re like us and wear black year round, this gorgeous statement necklace form Venessa Arizaga makes a color commitment easy.

3. ‘Paper Towns’
Current Vogue cover girl, social media sensation, and LOVE Magazine editor, Cara Delevigne can now add actor to her resume with her big-screen debut as Margo Roth Spiegelman in Paper Towns, an adaptation of the beloved John Green novel that tells the story of Quentin Jacobsen, who searches for his long time crush, Margo after she disappears one night. We can’t wait to see those eyebrows on the big screen.

4. Saint Laurent neck scarf
If you’ve been looking for the perfect summer accessory, we’ve got you covered. Neck scarves have been seen everywhere lately. Seen on starlet necks all season long, this adorable 70’s-style trend is the perfect way to add a little something extra to a basic tee and jeans.

5. Target x Eddie Bargo
In May, Target announced it’s latest designer collaboration with high-end accessories designer, Eddie Borgo. Borgo’s a fashion favorite, known for his edgy, art-inspired jewelry–so we have little doubt that this partnership will spur a shopping frenzy. The collection hits stores July 12.

6. Sanuk Sandals
Since summer is all about trips to the beach and weekend adventuring, it’s important to have the appropriate footwear, and Sanuk’s Yoga Mat sandals are the perfect solution. With the footbed made from an actual yoga mat (yes, we’re serious) there’s no doubt that these will be your most comfortable sandals ever.

7. Guess Palm Tree-Print Dress
Palm leaves have unofficially become the print of the summer, spotted on clothes, shoes, bags, and more. That’s why we’re loving this adorable off the shoulder dress by Guess, perfect for all of those summer soirees you’ll be heading to. Oh and even better: it’s currently on sale. You’re welcome.

8. Lobster Rolls
We wait all year round for lobster roll season, and ne of our favorites is down at the newly renovated South Street Seaport, at indoor/outdoor bar Ambrose Beer & Lobster (side note: be prepared for beer pong!). And when you’re done snacking on beer and lobster, be sure to cross the cobblestones and check out the new pop up store Seaport Studios by Howard Hughes, which will have a rotating collection of unique styles from emerging designers. Definitely one of the best ways to spend a summer evening.

9. “I Am Cait” premiere
Caitlyn Jenner (formerly known as Bruce Jenner) made headlines as she announced to the world that she was transitioning to a woman in an interview with Diane Sawyer. Since then, she’s landed a Vanity Fair cover, broken Twitter records, and now has her own TV series on E!, “I Am Cait.” Premiering on July 26th, this highly anticipated series will document Caitlyn’s transition, new life in Malibu, and how she will spend this next chapter of her life.

10. Molly Shaheen Kitten Bag
Need to amp up the cute level in your outift? Put a cat on it. Accessories designer, Molly Shaheen, is making all of our kitten-filled dreams come true with her Cat Ears bag. Included in her Mollypacks collection of fashionable leather fanny packs, it can be worn as a fanny pack, a clutch, or even over the shoulder. Me-oww!

11. Lollapalooza
Festival season is not done yet! Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Firefly have had their moment, now it’s time for Lollapalooza to shine. With performances from Paul McCartney, Sam Smith, The Weeknd, and so so much more, it’s pretty much impossible not to think that this could be the best festival of the year.

12. Lokai + WWF bracelet
Loved by celebrities such as Diane von Furstenberg, Kendall Jenner, and Gigi Hadid, accessories brand, Lokai is pairing up with the World Wildlife Fund to help raise funds for research and preservation of the natural environment. These bracelets, made from various elements from the highest and lowest points on Earth, including water from Mount Everest and mud from the Dead Sea, urge wearers to keep balance in their lives, through the highs and the lows. They’re only available until July 28th, so get yours now!

13. July 4th
Get the sparklers ready, it’s America’s birthday! Whether you’re throwing a little backyard BBQ, going to the beach, or shopping the amazing sales, getting a little patriotic is something we’re obviously excited about.

14. “The Girl in the Train”
Labeled as “the new Gone Girl,” this mystery has quickly climbed it’s way up to the top of the charts since it’s come out. Similar to Gone Girl, The Girl on the Train deals with the deceptive dynamics of marriage and feature highly unreliable narrators. Read our editor’s review here!
