With the fashion world’s newfound crush on Mick Jagger‘s sexalicious daughter Georgia May (pictured above), we’ve recently been coveting girls who rock their God-given gap teeth like no other. Nothing makes us happier than seeing a huge smile filled with less-than perfect pearly whites. Now whether we’re a little jealous because the gap adds mystery, or that we just wish we too could fit a quarter between our front teeth when bored, remains questionable. So here’s to saying “no” to braces and veneers, and “yes” to hot, quirky flaws that make us that much more beautiful. The next best thing: freckles, less-than-tiny noses, being short (fingers crossed)?
Brigitte Bardot – The voluptuous bombshell actress with sex hair and a full pout made the gap tooth sexy in the ’50s.
Lauren Hutton – The icon-from-forever-ago grins at us from the appropriate Gap ads, as if to say, see? My teeth got me this far, haters.
Jane Birkin – If Bardot made the gap sexy, then Birkin made it classy. Le sigh…tres chic.
Madonna – Since everything Madonna says/does/sings about is considered basically sex, of course her iconic gap smile would be, too.
Natalie Cole – Perhaps the singer/songwriter’s perfect gap helps in singing some serious jazz. We wonder if she can whistle through them?
Vanessa Paradis – Johnny Depp apparently appreciates a good gap, as his French girlfriend (and model, and actress, and singer) since 1998 sports one. So does their daughter, Lily-Rose Melody; a new generation of gaps.
Lara Stone – This fierce runway face gives the gap an edge, like she just might tear your face off with those chompers. Rawr.
Abbey Lee – Setting her apart from a lot of the newer runway faces, Lee flashes a delicately-gapped grin.
Kat Denning – Always playing the hot-but-real-girl in flicks like Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist and Charlie Bartlett, her wide-toothed smile adds to her youthful charm.
Anna Paquin – If this True Blood actress ever becomes a vampire herself, surely the gap would come in blood-sucking handy?
