14 Kick-Ass Ways to Get on Spring’s Frayed Denim Trend
It might feel like frayed denim is suddenly everywhere right now, but actually, it’s not so sudden. Much of the credit goes to Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida, the design duo behind the up-and-coming British label Marques’Almeida, who’ve been showcasing their signature rough-edged denim pieces since 2011.
Marta and Paolo might be the reigning masters of the trend—look how cool Kendall Jenner looked rocking their signature frayed T-shirt—but that hasn’t deterred plenty of other designers and retailers from hopping on the bandwagon for Spring 2015. Not that we’re not complaining: From skirts and minidresses and crop tops to standard blue jeans, we’ve rounded up 14 kick-ass denim pieces all featuring some serious frayed action.
