The collectors VIP lounge held host throughout Art Basel to “Bouquet de Champagne de Ruinart”, a sculpture the centuries old house of pagne commissioned from Dutch wunderkind Maarten Bass, who looks eerily like Twlight God Robert Pattinson. Thank god I wasn’t high. The piece is made from Murano glass and silver, with a chandelier in the middle that looks like it’s melting into a giant table festooned with bottle of Dom Ruinart. Ruinart, which, by the way was one of the first champagne houses in France, sells for between $70 and $150.00. Not bad for a recession.
