New York’s Spring 2016 shows will wrap up tomorrow, and after hundreds of street style outfits, there’s one undeniable theme that commanded the city’s sidewalks during Fashion Week: Denim.
We’re not just talking about your boring old skinny jeans either—although they were everywhere too—but culottes, jackets, dresses, shirts, and accessories all cut from heavy denim fabric.
Editors and bloggers have been wearing high-waist, wide-leg jeans styled with crop tops, fitted denim mini dresses with sneakers, chambray shirts worn loose and unbuttoned, cute denim caps and cut-offs, overalls styled with a collared shirt, and dozens more denim pieces styled to perfection.
Fall is the unofficial season of denim, so click through the gallery to get inspired by 38 denim-heavy looks that just debuted on the streets of New York Fashion Week.
