Some of my favorite tips come from the cool girls that rule the realm of Fashion PR. Much like editors, PR firms navigate the designer world and choose those that best represent their vision. My favorite fresh tips come from the publicists with their finger on the pulse.
One such source is fashion maven, Audrey of Archetype showroom in New York City (www.archetypeshowroom.com).
Audrey introduced me to a petite siren named Samantha Pleet awhile back. Fascinated by Pleet’s perfectly cut rompers and enchanting designs, I quickly pulled several pieces for a shoot and sprinkled her name into the vocabularies of stylish friends.
Fast forward to today and Pleet has exceeded my expectations by teaming up with one of my favorite retailers, UrbanOutfitters.com, to launch Rapscallion. The new limited line will be available to the masses come October. Keep an eye out for the mini Pleet’s. She is sure to gain a cult following.
