Since taking the reins at Céline in 2008, Phoebe Philo has excelled at designing handbags and shoes that fans line up to drop whole paychecks on—and fast fashion retailers clamor to copy. There’s been the Luggage Tote, the Trapeze Bag, the Trio—all of which have sold like hotcakes in an era in which the concept of the It bag was seemingly a thing of the past.

Shoes-wise, she’s successfully remixed the Doc Marten and sold them for nearly $1000 a pair, and made Big Bird yellow fuzzy shoes into a legitimate fashion trend.

Today, the designer showed her Fall 2016 collection in Paris, and, as always, the accessories were a highlight. Like the rest of the show, the palette was mostly neutrals—white, black, and caramel—mixed with muted colors like cobalt and mustard. Bags came with unusual straps that wrapped around the wrist like ribbons or cinched the waist like high-fashion fanny packs. Shoes, meanwhile, were either pointed pumps or strappy sandals—an unseasonable choice for fall, perhaps, but no doubt one that will sell to those who don’t have to worry about trudging through snow.
