Lady Gaga’s tribute to David Bowie may have stolen the show at last night’s Grammys, but she wasn’t the only star who decided to channel the iconic musician on the red carpet. Zendaya’s much-discussed mullet-and-suit combo was more than a risky (but decidedly well-done) sartorial choice—it was also inspired by the late Bowie’s signature style.

Sure, Zendaya went for a more subtle homage in comparison to Gaga’s totally OTT Ziggy Stardust look, but that mullet is giving us all kinds of “Labyrinth” feelings, and the tailored suit is without a doubt something the always-well-dressed rock stalwart would have approved of. In fact, we’re picking up on vibes of Bowie’s infamous 1975 Grammys appearance, in which a visibly (and admittedly) coke-addled Bowie presented an award that was quickly overshadowed by his bizarre behavior. What a guy.
