Purchasing a new fragrance is rarely on the top of our shopping list. It's not that we don't love perfume, but since it only takes a few spritzes a day to keep you smelling glorious, a full bottle of perfume can last years. Changing our fragrances is another subject entirely: Plenty of women have played it safe by sticking to the classics or their one "signature scent," because if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

But since, for most of us, the holidays are our one time to indulge—or ask others to indulge on us—we turn to the fragrance aisle for a piece of eye candy to add to our vanity. This season's best and brightest will make the perfect addition to your holiday wishlist, no guilt necessary.

B. Balenciaga Eau de Parfum Spray ($145, sephora.com)
This gorgeous hammered glass bottle is rumored to be inspired by the marble tiling of the fashion house’s original location—and an ode to the idea of old and new coming together. The scent, which consists of green and woodsy notes, fits the theme perfectly.

Dolce & Gabbana Dolce ($160, sephora.com)
If we were given one word to describe this fragrance, it’d be delicate. The floral scent has a soft mix of white daffodil, white water lily, papaya flower, and neroli leaves with a touch of sandalwood to even out the sweetness.

Jimmy Choo Stars ($78, sephora.com)
Inspired by Jimmy Choo’s Star Collection showcasing rock ’n roll glamour, this limited-edition perfume has the very same contrast of bold and beautiful. With a blend of candied orange, pear, tiger orchid, and sandalwood, the scent is just slightly more intense than the fashion house’s original fragrance. If you love the original, this variation is not to be missed.

Hermés Jour d’Hermés Absolu ($112, sephora.com
If you’re looking for a garden in a bottle, this is your pick. The fragrance opens with fruity apricot blossom, and through its wear, the scent transitions to notes of gardenia and sambac jasmine. Plus, what girl wouldn't want to wear a Hermés perfume? Serious question.

Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb ($215, sephora.com)
Oriental and floral come together in this feminine fragrance that packs notes of patchouli, centifolia rose, samba jasmine, cattleya orchid, and ballerina freesia.

Kate Spade New York Live Colorfully Eau De Parfum ($95, nordstrom.com)
The brand’s iconic scent may not have changed, but it can now be found in this limited-edition playful star-studded bottle, perfect for the Kate Spade lover in your life ... even, and especially, if it's you.

Vera Wang Forever Vera ($42, kohls.com)
For those who don’t have the means to indulge, fake it with Vera Wang’s newest installment. The girly pink perfume, housed in a crackled crystal bottle (sure to be a vanity favorite), has the feminine notes to match—velvety white peach, gardenia, blooming lilac, and coconut water. Add to the mix sandalwood, musk, and a drop of rum, and you have the perfect everyday scent.
