We love Jessica Alba for so many reasons: Dark Angel, her cute kids, her star turn as CEO of a billion dollar company. With her gorgeous new bob and powerful presentation at SXSW, there’s never been a better time to declare our love for Jessica. Model, actress, activist, mother, businesswoman? Oh yeah. She’s absolutely our Woman Crush Wednesday.
We love Jessica Alba for so many reasons: Dark Angel, her cute kids, her star turn as CEO of a billion dollar company. With her gorgeous new bob and powerful presentation at SXSW, there's never been a better time to declare our love for Jessica. Model, actress, activist, mother, businesswoman? Oh yeah. She's absolutely our Woman Crush Wednesday.
At the Cruel Intentions Premiere, 1999.
Pre-Dark Angel fame, Jessica was a teen actor who had dreamed of Hollywood stardom since she was five. She went casual for this premiere, but we love her peachy lipgloss and huge smile.
At FOX's schedule unveiling, 2001.
With a hit show to her credit (seriously, Dark Angel was massive), Alba quickly became a bonafide star—and started taking more risks with her look. This dark red hair (and matching brows) worn with the brightest blue eyeshadow? Who among us DIDN'T rock this style in 2001?

On the set of 'Honey,' 2002.
The long, straight bangs. The crunchy curls. The square-tipped French manicure. This look is giving us such early 00s beauty flashbacks that it almost hurts. Fortunately, there is a very cute puppy in this picture.

Jessica Alba at Rami Kashou's Fall show, Fashion Week 2004.
Though the hair continues to get longer, more layered and lighter, 2004 is when we start to see some of Jessica's makeup trademarks begin to emerge: radiant skin with a hint of peach-pink blush (with foundation light enough to show freckles underneath), neutral lipstick and brown smoky eyes with LOTS of fake lashes around the outer corners.

At the Sin City press conference, 2005.
Holy blonde, Batman! For her roles as Sue Storm in Fantastic Four and Nancy in Sin City, Alba went blonde. Like, unbelievably blonde. Though this shade might be a little brassy, we love the soft and retro way she's styled it here.
On the Golden Globes red carpet, 2006.
Subtly highlighted hair, styled with heaps of volume? Check. The perfect nude lip? Check. Amazing eyebrows? Oh yeah, check. This was the year that Our Girl Jessica became a seriously glam red carpet force to be reckoned with.
On the Campari Calendar red carpet, 2009.
If you've been looking at these pictures and wondering if Alba totally SLAYS in a bold lip color, the answer is yes.
At the 'Valentine's Day' press conference, 2010.
We always picture Alba with long, flowing locks—but she's rocked the hell out of short hair many times over the years. This very dark, longer-in-the-front cut is a super-cool take on the classic pixie, providing the idea frame for Jessica's amazing eyes.

At the Orange British Academy Film Awards, 2011.
Even gorgeous celebrities know that growing out a short haircut can be a pain in the butt. Jessica dealt with her post-crop hair issues by deploying a lot of braids; this double-braided headband style is just formal enough for a red carpet, but not SO formal that it overshadows her copper eyeshadow and coral lips.
At the launch for The Honest Company, 2012.
While we love Jessica's movies, we admit that we're the most impressed with the business ventures. The Honest Company is currently valued at a billion dollars, and its mission of eco-friendly products and charitable giving is definitely amazing. At the launch of the line, Alba looked every inch the #girlboss with loosely waved caramel hair, nude lips and striking brows.

At the Producer's Guild Awards, 2013.
Like many of us in the halcyon days of '13, Jessica got liberal with bleach and sported this gorgeous blonde ombre. Worn with intense baby pink lips—oh god, we LOVE her in color!—and perfect bronzer, this look is the platonic ideal of relaxed glamour.

At the Who What Wear And Cadillac's 50 Most Fashionable Women Event, 2013.
With a slightly cherry-toned brunette "fashion bob" and deep red lips, Alba walked the line between edgy and glam with aplomb.
