Under eye circles and puffiness are one of the most common beauty complaints and are usually genetically inherited, or accrued from late nights at the office, lack of sleep, and general stress. I have tried hundreds of products that promise to cover and hide the "sleepless night look" so many of us sport under our eyes. Here are some of my picks to combat and conceal- and help anyone who is tired of looking tired!

Frownies eye gels ($29.95) are the first step in achieving a deflated under eye area. The anti-wrinkle treatment contains strong anti-oxidants that not only help protect the sensitive skin, but in one thirty minute treatment 100% of women saw a reduction of fine lines, puff and dark circles. The weight of the patch soothes the under eye area and fights free radical damage. For optimal results, all you have to do is use the gel three nights in a row and then sporadically once a week from there on out! Frownies are a tinseltown staple and a favorite of Raquel Welch, Rashida Jones and the entire Kardashian clan!

YSL's Touche Eclat ($40), is one of the beauty industry's best concealer products. It is true that this product does what it claims...gives you eight hours of sleep with just the click of a pen! The complexion highlighter makes dark circles, fatigue and fine lines virtually vanish. It is formulated with a Luminocaptide Complex to boost radiance for a bright, even and flawless face, and is available in three different skin-toned shades. I have been using this concealer pen for several years and would say it is my most important make-up essential. I even carry an extra one in my handbag for touch-ups. Everyone from Jennifer Garner and Demi Moore, to Rachel McAdams and Ashley Olsen have been spotted with the miracle worker!

I found out about this amazing concealer ($32.99) last September backstage at Fashion Week and have loved it ever since! The oil free medium-coverage concealer creates a "soft-focus" effect which brightens the eye area and reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Their inventive soft silicone applicator enables a precise application for a natural and radiant look. This product provides excellent and natural coverage and is available in 14 skin-toned shades.

The Judith August Orange Masking Crme ($30) is excellent at neutralizing and concealing under eye circles. This heavy duty make-up comes in a two color compact design and has a peachy hue which provides for full coverage. The formula not only looks flawless but is also restorative with Vitamin C and chamomile components to protect and calm the skin. Founder Judith August was told she would never become a model because of her under-eye bags and went on to study lighting, art and makeup application, learning to conceal her flaw, fooling them all and working in the industry for over a decade!

This dermatologist tested, paraben and cruelty free 4-in-1 concealer ($21) is specially formulated to treat the causes of under eye imperfections and not just mask them. Compounded from aloe leaf, arnica flower and cucumber extracts, olive oil, safflower seed oil and vitamins C and E, Tarte's super pigmented make-up soothes, heals, softens, anti-inflames and maintains moisture balance in the skin- talk about an eye saver! I tried this one when purchasing one of the Tarte make-up kits and cannot believe how well it works.

Sue Devitt's Automatic Camouflage Concealer ($21) is a water and crease resistant formula that masks the broken capillaries responsible for under eye imperfections. With just a few light stokes and minor blending you will have a flawless complexion in no time at all. The Camouflage Concealer contains the special ingredient Nylon-12 which expands and contracts with natural facial movement, ensuring long lasting coverage. Check out my exclusive video with Sue where she shows us her technique for concealing under eye circles.

The Covergirl Smoothers Concealer ($3) is great at concealing a little or a lot of under eye darkness! Designed with AquaCurrent Science and botanicals like ginseng, vitamin E and chamomile, this concealing stick will sooth and smooth away all of your unwanted under-eye imperfections. The dermatologist-tested formula is perfect for sensitive skin and glides on seamlessly for a bright and naturally even looking face. At under $5, this is a fabulous drugstore find! Also available in six skin-toned shades so there is one that will match yours perfectly.
