The Best Celebrity Instagrams from the Tony Awards

Alle Connell

If you watched the Tony Awards last night, you may have noticed that the red carpet was a little more star-studded than usual. It’s no wonder: The New York Times says empress of style Anna Wintour was enlisted to help up the glamour quotient at Broadway’s biggest night.

And it worked. Superstars from fashion, stage and screen alike came out to celebrate the year’s very best Broadway performances, and of course, the style was on point. Naturally we kept our eyes peeled for all the best celebrity instagram action—because isn’t that the next best thing to being there? Let’s go behind-the-scenes at Broadway’s biggest night!

On our way! #TONYS

A post shared by Sutton Foster (@suttonlenore) on

Broadway and TV darling Sutton Foster shared this all-smiles limo selfie with her husband, Ted Griffin.

Elisabeth Moss, currently starring on Broadway in The Heidi Chronicles, posted this unbearably adorable photo as she was getting ready for the show. All-baby glam squads: new million-dollar idea.

Bow down to actual Broadway royalty: Michael Cerveris and Bernadette Peters were snapped together after his win for Fun Home.

Mega-talented designer Prabal Gurung posted a very high-fashion behind the scenes shot with Grace Mahary, Dao-Yi Chow, Bella Hadid, Hilary Rhoda, Joan Smalls and Maxwell Osbourne.

Queen of Brows Hilary Rhoda is the only person allowed to do duckface in her pre-show selfies, in our opinion.

Models Joan Smalls and Constance Jablonski were all eyes during the telecast.
