To add some volume to a shorter chop, take a page from Paulson's book. Try a touch of hairspray at the crown and keep the rest smooth for a modern touch.

This tousle is ideal for everyday wear. We love the rough texture of this look. Achieve it with a spritz or two of sea salt spray and taking some heat to your locks.

We just love how she mixed up a short crop with a dramatic part and stylized, soft waves. This look gives new meaning to short and sweet.

For a more evening-appropriate look, we love Paulson's pinned-back style. For this, the actress wore half of her hair pinned back, while the other half was left flowing freely on the sides. (So on trend, if we do say so.)

You don't have to get bangs to rock the fringe look. Take a cue from Paulson, who opted for a sweeping part and piecey layers that mimicked bangs.

On the entirely different end of the spectrum, a super sleek blunt cut with a stark center part and strands tucked behind the ears is a sure-fire way to turn heads.

For a super modern style, we're digging this pinned-back do, which featured a row of bobby pins at the nape of the neck. (See the look from the back here!)

To add spice to any chin-grazing chop, eyebrow-length bangs are a fun way to lighten thick hair, add style, and look incredibly adorable. We're obsessed with these side-parted ones from Paulson.
