Summer is almost here, which means we finally get to play with fun new colors! Like Zooey Deschanel's hot tangerine lipstick that had us longing for one of our own. To get the New Girl's look, try Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick in Crush ($5.19, or, for darker skin tones shoot for something with red undertones, like Topshop Lip Stick in Hedonist ($15,

Ready for a step beyond bright lipstick? Try adding a pop of color with accessories. The neon trend is still going strong, which is why we love this Venessa Arizaga Charlie necklace ($475, Although it's a little on the pricey side, it's a gorgeous piece that will work for many summers to come.

For fair-skinned ladies, like Jessica Chastain, who prefer to steer clear of the sun, we've found the perfect way to add a summer glow to your face. Start by dusting a light blush on the apples of the cheeks and sweep backward, toward the temple. Then add some emphasis with a darker blush underneath the cheekbones. We like Almay Wake Up Blush + Highlighter in Rose and Berry ($10, both available in June at

We caught up with makeup guru Jemma Kidd recently, who told us she loves color, but prefers her makeup to be modest, not bold. So she created the Bio-Mineral Essentials Kit in Rose ($40,, a palette with three shadows that warm the face and a girly pink lipstick to add that pop of color. These colors really work with any outfit!

How To Go Nude

One color that's super hot this summer is cobalt blue. Brandy wore this shade on her eyes and paired it with a dark navy liner, like Make Up For Ever Aqua Shadow Pencil ($20, It's the perfect way to add color to an otherwise traditional evening, smoky eye.

MAC has done it again! This time, they teamed up with Beth Ditto to create a super fun collection, with our favorite being the Powder To The People ($38, Packed with colorful polka dots, this highlighting powder could be used as a shadow or to accentuate cheekbones. Either way, there'll be plenty of color to go around!

How To Wear Bright Pink Blush

If nail polish gets your heart racing like it does ours, you'll love the bright colors that are making waves this season. We particularly love the bold pinks and oranges we've spotted at the beach lately, like OPI Your Web Or Mine and Call Me Gwen-Ever ($8.50, nail salons nationwide) from the new Spider-Man collection. With the perfect amount of shimmer, these colors glisten in the sun, and add a burst of color to newly tanned hands.

Looking for a color to wear to the beach? We like Nicole Scherzinger's bold pink lipstick: it adds the perfect amount of color to an otherwise dull bikini. To get her lip look, try Dolce & Gabbana Monica Lipstick in "Only Monica" ($32,

Still looking for the perfect, summer date night dress? We love this SuperTrash--whose clothes are anything but--Daisy dress ($92, in Diva Pink. Hugging curves in all the right places and available in various fun colors, this is a summer must-have.

Wedding Hairstyles For Different Dress Types

If you're only going to add one piece to your beauty closet this season, choose Lorac 3D Liquid Lustre ($16, Here's why: it's a shimmering top coat for your eyes that comes in gold and silver, and enhances any other color you're wearing. Whether you're going shadow-free or packing it on for a night out, this liquid will make your eyes pop and last you all the way into the fall.
