Jennifer Lawrence is, hands down, our favorite celebrity. From her refreshingly real attitude to her undeniable talent, she’s the Hollywood star we most want to grab a drink with—and okay, we also want to talk to her about her hair. Seriously, how does someone go from dark to light so many times and still have such amazing hair? She’s basically magical. And, oh yeah—girl has some seriously real talk to drop on the subject of sexism and the film industry’s double standard. Could we possibly love her any more?

We’ve been waiting a long time for this, and the moment is finally here: J.Law is officially our Woman Crush Wednesday. Let’s look back at her most incredible hair and makeup moments of all time.

Jennifer Lawrence is, hands down, our favorite celebrity. From her refreshingly real attitude to her undeniable talent, she's the Hollywood star we most want to grab a drink with—and okay, we also want to talk to her about her hair. Seriously, how does someone go from dark to light so many times and still have such amazing hair? She's basically magical. And, oh yeah—girl has some seriously real talk to drop on the subject of sexism and the film industry's double standard. Could we possibly love her any more?

We've been waiting a long time for this, and the moment is finally here: J.Law is officially our Woman Crush Wednesday. Let's look back at her most incredible hair and makeup moments of all time.

Who could forget J.Law's major red carpet moment at the 2011 Oscars? Nominated for her gritty role in Winter's Bone, she brought some serious '70s glam to the red carpet with this feathered hairstyle, smokey eye and nude lip combo. And who could forget that iconic red dress?

Though she never seemed totally comfortable with her dark brown Katniss hair, even in 2012, there's no denying that the deeper color REALLY called attention to Jennifer's perfect skin and insane bone structure. Those cheekbones!

Transitioning from dark to light hair for the second time in 2013, J. Law landed on this gorgeous strawberry blonde shade. We love the way that the slightly coppery hair color pairs with her watermelon-pink lipgloss—and of course, that elegantly side-swept updo.

Rocking some long bronde waves in 2013—so long before Blake Lively "started" the trend—Jennifer's angular cat eye and berry lips are legitimately perfect.

Jen won the Oscar for Best Leading Actress in 2013, and even though she tripped (twice), her beauty look was pure balletic elegance. This is still the standard to which all other smokey eyes aspire.

Rocking a birdcage veil and red patent leather lips, Lawrence brought a much-needed touch of edge to an otherwise feminine gown at the Met gala in 2013. This was the perfect way to reference the event's punk theme without showing up in a costume.

Her 2013 pixie cut remains one of the most talked about hairstyles in pop culture history, and we think that this styling—sleek, smooth, paired with vampy red lips—is the best way she ever wore it. Va-va-voom!

Growing out short hair can be tough, and Jennifer had a multitude of creative styling solutions to deal with the awkward in-between stages. This wavy side-swept style is the perfect way to hide hair that's a variety of annoying lengths, while also capitalizing on the volume boost those varying lengths give. Bonus points for finding the perfect matte peach lipstick that doesn't totally wash her out—again, she must be magic.

Even though the press often refers to her (quite patronizingly, we think) as "unladylike," J.Law does elegant glamour like nobody else. On any other celeb, this low beehive and candy-pink lipstick could read as twee—on Jennifer, it's just straight-up gorgeous.

The final Hunger Games installment comes out on November 20th, and Our Girl Jennifer has been hitting the red carpet hard to promote it. This chic platinum blonde bob is, as she calls it, “movie hair,” telling Vogue that “I guess this is what sluts look like in space.” Though we're not sure about that, we think that the casual waves and warm red lipstick are a match made in heaven—perhaps her best look to date. She's amazing; we love you, Jennifer!
