With so many holiday parties on the horizon, we're gonna need some beauty inspiration. Try these simple tweaks for endless options.
Gold Lip Color
Gold makeup is a holiday season staple, but Sarah Hyland's look features a unique twist: gold lips. A gold lipstick can look intimidating in the tube, but a sheer coat adds subtle nude shine that plays well with gold eye makeup. One shade we love: Dolce & Gabbana's Topazio ($36, sephora.com) from their Sicilian Jewels Collection.

Tousled Texture
Add cool factor to a cocktail dress with an undone look like Taylor Swift's. Create messy texture by rough drying the hair to bring out natural waves, and finish with texturizing spray all over. For the eyes, smudge your liner with a blending brush.

Classic Beauty
Shay Mitchell proves You can't go wrong with the classics — red lips, long lashes and sultry loose waves. To create loose waves that frame your features, use a 2-inch curling iron and wrap the hair away from the face.

Rosy Glow
Rosy cheeks are a must. When using a soft pink like Miranda Kerr, go brighter with the lipstick for a contrast. You never want to be too matchy-matchy.

Vampy Lip
Trade in your usual holiday red for an oxblood hue like Kylie Jenner's. The luminous shadow on the inner corners of her eyes opens up her features and helps to keep the look from feeling too heavy.

Super Subtle Waves
Skip the big chunky curls and go easy with the curling iron like Kristen Bell did here. Use a wand iron, wrapping the hair only half way up the head. Hold for 10 seconds and release for loose waves. Brush out the waves so there is only a slight bend to the hair. Finish with a light hold hairspray.

Glowing Skin
Make it all about the highlighter like Karlie Kloss. As beautiful as her classic red lip is, we can't take our eyes off her flawless cheekbones. Add a liquid highlighter, such as Benefit Cosmetics High Beam ($26, sephora.com) directly to the cheekbones. We love a liquid formula because it creates a dewy finish, helping the skin to look less dry during the cold winter months.

Gray Smoky Eye
Keep a smoky eye light by copying Jennifer Lawrence here. The actress has a soft blend of pale gray around the eye, as opposed to black which can come off a little goth. The bright pink lip keeps it light, too.

Loose Braids
For nights when you don't have to time to wash your hair, pull it all up into a Heidi braid like Bella Thorne's. To avoid the costumey look, keep the style soft. The combination of bangs and loose pieces in front help the braid to blend into the hair. Plus, it's a fishtail braid which adds texture instead of drawing attention.

Chic and Simple
For nights you're sporting a bold neckline or elaborate jewelry, keep the hair and makeup simple like Allison Williams. With champagne eyeshadow, a rosy pink lip and a twisted updo, all eyes are on her gold studs. To recreate her 'do, twist the hair back on both sides, pinning as you move around the head. Pull both sides together into a classic chignon.
