There are wipes out there that do just about everything for your skin and that goes way beyond just cleansing. Think detoxifying, exfoliating, moisturizing, and even deodorizing. But did you know there’s a buy out there that could help you relax? Well, if aromatherapy and lavender does the trick for you.

The product I’m referring to is Herban Essentials Towelettes ($16,, an all natural wipe that takes multitasking to an entirely new level. These wipes claim to do pretty much anything you’d want a wipe do to. They can remove makeup, disinfect your bod after the gym (a post-workout must-have, we should add), refresh your skin after a long day, and help you unwind. The latter is obviously what I found the most intriguing.

Infused with lavender essential oil, a scent known and famous for promoting relaxation and even trust, these towelettes can be applied on your temples and on your neck for a quick DIY aromatherapy session. That claim was too good to pass up, so I decided to see if they could help me personally chill out.

I broke open one of the individually-wrapped wipes right before I went to bed and applied the damp cloth to my neck and décolletage. The scent is intense, but if you don’t mind that earthy, herbal fragrance (and I don’t), it’s rather enjoyable. I made sure to take a few deep breaths and even meditated a bit afterwards to enhance my zen.

Did I drift off without a worry in the world? I’m not that great at meditating just yet, but they made bedtime more of a spa-like experience, and I’m into aromatherapy as a general rule. I tested them a few more times and didn’t mind adding one more step into my nightly beauty routine. I’m definitely not wishing for any stressful situations to invade my life, but next time I feel some tension, I won’t hesitate to use these as a mini escape. Paired with a long run, Netflix, chocolate, and lots of girl talk, of course.
