It was just announced that Gwen Stefani is pregnant with her third child, so what better time to go back in history and look back at the trendsetter's most memorable looks?
In 1989, Gwen looked like a baby herself in this promotional shoot for No Doubt. Is it just us, or does she look a little like Alicia Silverstone in this photo?

In 1997, Gwen started wearing a bindi, which became her staple accessory in the beginning of her career. This was also just the beginning of her many loud hairstyle choices.

There are very few people who can pull off baby top knots all over the head, but Gwen proves she's one of them.

We almost forgot the singer had such short hair. This particular look was for the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards.

Many artists have blue periods, and Gwen is no different.

Forget Lauren Conrad! Gwen Stefani was one of the first celebs to start the dip dye trend in 1999.

By December of '99, Gwen had lost the blue and went full on pink. Oh, and did we mention she got braces?

In 2000 the braces were gone, but the cornrows were in.

Gwen eventually returned to her signature blonde hair and even let her eyebrows grow in a little (thank goodness!).

Gwen was featured on Eve's song "Let Me Blow Ya Mind," and for the video she wore long extensions.

For the 2001 MTV Movie Awards Gwen styled her long hair into pigtails.

Later in 2001 Gwen swapped out the extensions for victory rolls.

In 2003, No Doubt released a video for their cover of "It's My Life." In the video, the lead singer sported a number of vintage hairstyles, which she also wore to promotional red carpet events.

Director Martin Scorsese must have noticed how good Gwen looked in the video, because soon after he cast her as Jean Harlow in The Aviator.

Around the same time Gwen's solo career took off with the album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. In the video for "What You Waiting For?" Gwen channeled Alice in Wonderland, complete with blonde curls and a black hairband.

The singer also celebrated Harajuku culture with this elaborate hairstyle.

One of our favorite hairstyles on the singer is this elaborate braided updo.
Celebrities Who Regret Cutting Their Hair

This sleek hairstyle and blunt bangs transports us back to the '70s.

For her big wedding day, Gwen chose an updo with a pompadour.

She also sported tons of volume at Fashion's Night Out in 2009.

Gwen's hairstyles are always unique. We love the tiny braided buns.

If you've ever wondered who the queen of top knots is, look no further than this 2011 photo.

This layered hairstyle continues to be a source of inspiration for our own visits to the salon.

Gwen has remained faithful to the tiny bun, which she wore to this year's Met Ball.
