Get The Look: Gwen Stefani’s Music Video Makeup

Shannon Farrell

We’ve loved what Gwen Stefani has done in the fashion world, but when we found out she would be reuniting with her No Doubt band members for another album, we had no problem with her taking a break. Although the album, Push and Shove, will not be released until September 25th, we’ve got a little something to tide us over – some behind-the-scenes footage from their new video, “Settle Down.” Check out the footage and find out how to get her signature look below.

Step 1: After applying a foundation and powder, sweep L’Oreal Paris Infallible 24HR Eye Shadow ($8, in Ice Latte, which is a velvety cream, and Liquid Diamond, a smoky silver shade. Blend the colors evenly.

Step 2: Apply a bold cat eye swoop like Gwen’s using a gel eyeliner, such as L’Oreal Paris Infallible Never Fail Lacquer Line 24H ($7.49, in Blackest Black. Beginning at the inside of the eyelid, drag the applicator all the way across the lid to the outside of the eye. Then move the applicator up and out to create a winged effect.

Step 3: Gwen is known for those long, voluminous lashes. Her makeup artist used L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Power Volume 24H Mascara ($6.99, in Black for fast volume that lasts.

Step 4: Add a little color to cheeks with L’Oreal Paris Magic Smooth SoufflĂ© Blush ($12.99, in Cherubic.

Step 5: For that signature red lip of hers, apply L’Oreal Paris Infallible Le Gloss 8HR ($8.49, in Red Fatale. We personally love this gloss because it lasts all day and hydrates, creating smooth and soft lips.

What do you think of Gwen going back to her old roots? To help you get the look, we’re giving away 5 sets of the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Le Gloss 8HR in Red Fatale and L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Power Volume 24H Mascara in Black.
