The first thing Emma Watson did as soon as the “Harry Potter” films wrapped back in 2010 was shear off her hair into a gamine Jean Seberg-style pixie. After all, she’d spent much of her adolescence maintaining long hair that could easily be styled into Hermione’s frizzy waves (which she hated, by the way)—we can’t blame her for itching to make that change.
She’s been growing it out into a longer look ever since … until right about now. Emma’s publicist took to Twitter yesterday to show off the actress’s new chic, tousled bob: “Amazing woman. Amazing new hair,” he wrote. We’re inclined to agree—between Emma’s gutsy commitment to women’s rights issues as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and her beauty prowess (along with, we’re certain, many other impressive qualities), she’s definitely a force to be reckoned with.
And yes, her new haircut looks pretty damn good, too.
