As if palling around with Sienna Miller, Charlotte Tilbury, Suki Waterhouse, Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding, and Jourdan Dunn weren’t enough already, Cara Delevingne has joined yet another elite pack of Brit “It” girls: She just hopped on board as the newest face of UK-based drugstore brand Rimmel London, which puts her in the same league as Georgia May Jagger, Lily Cole, and—wait for it—Kate Moss, who has her own capsule collection within the line.
“I’m honored to be working with Rimmel London. It’s the first makeup brand I was introduced to as a teenager,” Cara says of the partnership. “I’m a London girl through and through, and Rimmel London truly captures and represents the city’s edgy, cosmopolitan beauty styles.”
Cara is also the face of Yves Saint Laurent beauty and all things Burberry (alongside Kate, to boot), including their makeup collection, so to say that she’s in high demand for beauty campaigns would be an understatement. This spokesmodel gig in particular, however, will definitely appeal to her younger fanbase (you know, the Instagram generation), considering Rimmel is well-known as a purveyor of low-priced, high-quality super-accessible products. Glad to hear that Cara knows the value of a seriously good $5.79 lipstick.
