Blueprint Cleanse Day 1


With Fashion Week just one week away, I decided that now is a good time to see what all this juice fast hoop-la is about.  My friend Michelle at Fingerprint PR had recently tried the Blueprint Cleanse and had good things to say about it, so I gave them a call. I was connected with Erica who spent half an hour with me on the phone deciding when and how I should go about this. She told me that to get the most benefits I should fast for three days. Since I generally eat healthy and exercise, but do take in the occasional coffee, smoke the odd cigarette, and down a tequila shot now and then, we settled on the Foundation Level 2 cleanse. The website says that benefits of the cleanse include clearer skin, increased mental alertness, improved immunity and, fingers crossed, weight loss.

Of course, I didn’t get a chance to order my cleanse until the day before I wanted to start. Typically, you should order it a week before. Erica helped me out and squeezed my order into that day’s delivery. She warned me though, that you should have started to prepare for the cleanse two to three days beforehand. It’s best to wean yourself off of coffee (I’d already had two), dairy (I had a yogurt for lunch), and unhealthy food (I had fried calamari for dinner). Needless to say, tomorrow is probably going to be rough.
