Beyoncé Proves She’s Pretty Much Flawless with No Makeup and Cornrows on New Magazine Cover

By now, it’s a well-established fact that Beyoncé can pretty much do whatever the hell she wants and we’ll all be clamoring for more—surprise album releases, impromptu music video drops, tour announcements without warning. Now Queen Bey is showing us that she’s still 100 percent flawless even sans makeup on her latest magazine cover.

In a sneak peek tweeted by Garage today, Bey appears on the cover wearing no visible makeup and rocking cornrows with perfect edges (because would you expect anything less?). Her face is framed by red, orange, and yellow art, which was painted by noted artist Urs Fischer.

This is Beyoncé’s first magazine cover since dropping her new video, “Formation,” which debuted the night before her Super Bowl performance; it’s also the name of her upcoming tour, which she announced directly after her halftime show appearance.

Is this album cover a lead-up to her new album? Here’s hoping—until then, we’ll be over here, watching “Formation” on repeat.
